Can web cam be connected in tab s6 in dex mode?

I am using samsung tab s6. Kindly any one can guide me. Can web cam be connected in Dex mode? I want to use share screen as well as my video during presentation on webinar.

i am using phones front camera as webcam, i have got the phone cover fixed on a wall via double sided tape and have Bluetooth keyboard and mouse... this setup works for me

Are you using dex station or just HDMI cable
