SmartThingsOpen SmartThings app.
Go to your Q800C soundbar device.
Tap the 3-dot menu → Settings → Alexa.
Ensure your Amazon account is properly linked.
If already linked, unlink and relink it.
✅ 2. Check Default Music Provider in Alexa App
Open Alexa app → More → Settings → Music & Podcasts.
Make sure Amazon Music is set as default.
Tap Amazon Music and ensure it’s linked and authorized.
✅ 3. Re-authenticate Amazon Music
Sometimes it silently fails.
In the Alexa app:
Go to Settings → Music & Podcasts.
Tap Amazon Music → Disable.
Then re-enable it by logging in again.
✅ 4. Ask More Specific Alexa Commands
Try:
“Alexa, play [playlist/artist] on Amazon Music.”
Avoid “my library” phrasing at first. Sometimes “your library” confuses Alexa if there’s nothing actually saved in Amazon Music library.
✅ 5. Factory Reset the Soundbar (if needed)
If it persists:
Press and hold volume up + volume down on soundbar for 5–10 seconds until it resets.
Reconnect everything and re-link Alexa.
