No inbuilt app lock feature like other android devices

Secure folder is good to keep some particular item under lock. 

But my requirement is a simple app lock  like what's app have fingerprint lock system from app side. So that we can lock any app because it user's choice to show any app to others or not.

For example if someone using my phone and he wants to peak into my reddit account, for now there is not app lock in samsung device to lock app so it is easy to access. 

Please check on this feature, this is not very big task to implement. Just an additional check whenever an app is clicked to open.

Agree with you, bro. But a secure folder is knox secured which can protect your files from any external harm. Whereas app lock has limitations. It can be bypassed easily.
Therefore, a secure folder is preferable. However, one must understand how to use it properly.

If I am adding secure lock to gallery app, I have to select images which I don't want to show anyone. 

Here app lock creates a wall against all images in your gallery. 

That's the difference between secure folder app and lock app. And I want 2nd option.

Companies like Realme & vivo are providing built-in APP LOCK but why does Samsung never thought to implement this in their phones ? Is it a big ask ?
