Rupay Card support for Tap and Pay

We all know Rupay can be used with UPI.

However, when will Rupay cards be supported for Samsung Tap and Pay.

I recently changed my HDFC Credit Card MasterCard network to Rupay Network and I don't know when can I use it for Tap and Pay in Samsung wallet.

As far as I know, npci's rupay didn't so far granted any third party applications to execute contactless payments through them.
So, you can only use visa cards or, master cards.

I have been using contact less payment before Samsung pay was launched in India using ICICI pockets app on my Xperia phone. However, I well understand the availability of Visa and MasterCard TAP AND PAY options with recently removed Amex from Samsung Pay.
I had already had a call with the customer care regarding the same and hope it will be active soon as it is the need of the hour.

Yup, I was just telling you some info.
Regarding this, every app I know (samsung pay, google pay, etc..) doesn't support rupay.
And, also, I don't think samsung pay will support it any soon.
It would be better if you tag them on twitter and also, write a mail to Samsung India CEO.
