In light of the recent partnership between Samsung and the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), I would like to propose a collaboration between Samsung and either the UAE PASS or the Ministry of Interior (MOI) to expand the accessibility of the Samsung Pay feature to all emirates. While I understand that the current process may be time-consuming, such a collaboration would greatly benefit both Samsung and its users.

As a Samsung user with identification documents issued by the Sharjah government, I am currently unable to link my Samsung Pay account due to the RTA's limitations. Expanding the accessibility of this feature to include all emirates would be mutually beneficial for Samsung and its users.

I really like this idea. More such ID documents should be supported by Samsung Wallet.

In India we have something called digilocker linked with Samsung Wallet.

Regarding the Emirates ID, if Samsung and the relevant authorities collaborate, all Samsung users in the UAE could store their IDs on their phones, reducing the need for physical cards. This aligns with the UAE's drive towards innovation. Samsung's efforts, such as the Nol Pay feature for the metro, which eliminates the need to carry a physical card and even works without a phone charge, are commendable.

Implementing a similar feature for Emirates IDs would enhance convenience for users and position Samsung as an industry leader, given that Apple currently lacks this functionality. If the Ministry of Interior does not approve the use of Emirates IDs on Samsung devices, an alternative option could be to integrate the UAE Pass, which has unexpectedly become a widely used and essential app for various services, including banking, identification, immigration, and visas.

By incorporating Emirates IDs into Samsung devices or the UAE Pass, the process of passing through immigration could be significantly expedited, enabling a seamless "scan and go" experience.
