Dex mode connection

Hello fellow experts,

I have a question regarding on how to connect my s21 fe to a monitor using a dex mode. Is it possible that I connect the monitor stand alone (without any PC connection) to the mobile, will it work?

Yes it does support standalone monitor, monitor need to have C type display adapter or you need usb c to hdmi adapter

As per your concern, we want to inform you that kindly perform the following steps to use the Samsung dex feature. And you can use this with the HDMI to USB-C adapter, or connect directly to a USB-C monitor

Step1: Connect the USB-C end of the DeX Cable to the port on the phone or tablet, and then connect the HDMI end to a TV or monitor's HDMI port.
Step 2: Tap Continue.
Step 3: Tap Start.
Step 4: Swipe down the notification panel.
Step 5: Tap on and use your phone as a touchpad.
Step 6: Your phone has been connected to the monitor.
