Looks like the quad pixel samsung sensor have finally started to roll out in Samsung smartphones. The sensor on the galaxy m40 for instance is a 32mp 0.8um sensor that outputs 8mp 1.6um pics. I have attached two screenshots of testing these sensors. So that is good for low light shots but is not able to do so because of no dedicated night mode. Hope it will come with coming update.

So samsung has excellent hardware to provide. Let's wait for the update to provide a dedicated night mode.

no but if samsung implements good camera software low light imaging can get better because they already have good hardware setup.

photos with m40 are pretty bad even in normal or full light. I read somewhere that QS 675 supports best upto 20 mp camera for best optimized performance. m40 has 32 mp camera. I can't wait or trust for Samsung to fix camera with updates

sd675 is quite capable the only issue here is Samsung's image processing.

Samsung's image processing isn't up to the mark.
