One UI is just brilliant, from the Era when other manufacturers tried to mock Samsug for Galaxy Note being too big a phone and gave it the term Phablet (Where is it now, all phones phablets now or what), but anyways Samsung did some amazing job with one hand usablity of the phone and all the design characteristics of the earlier software has improved over the years to come up with ONE UI.
It is simple and intelligently uses all the screen but only the bottom half of the phone is used for control which if you think is brilliant because now we can reach only the Bottom Half of our phones isn't it? So it makes sense.
I am really looking forward to Galaxy S10 as it is going to be Bonkers in terms of looks and simplicity of using.
Samsung introduced things like Multi-Window, POP up calls, Pop up notifications and these got copied to Native Android and made The Experiance of the whole Android Community better, So ONE UI is the iteration of so many years of improvements that is why it is important and as it is going to lead the future features of Android itself.
