Frequent disconnections of your SmartThings devices can be frustrating. Here are a few steps you can take to improve the connectivity:

1. **Check Wi-Fi Signal Strength:**
- Ensure that your devices have a strong Wi-Fi signal. You can use a Wi-Fi analyzer app to check the signal strength near your Samsung AC and washing machine. Weak signals can cause frequent disconnections.

2. **Reduce Interference:**
- Other electronic devices, such as microwaves and cordless phones, can interfere with Wi-Fi signals. Make sure your SmartThings devices are not placed near such devices.

3. **Update Firmware:**
- Ensure that both your SmartThings hub and devices have the latest firmware updates installed. Check the SmartThings app for any available updates.

4. **Router Settings:**
- Ensure your router’s firmware is up to date.
- Consider changing the Wi-Fi channel to one with less interference. Channels 1, 6, and 11 are usually the best for 2.4 GHz networks.
- Use separate SSIDs for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands and connect your SmartThings devices to the 2.4 GHz network if they only support that band.

5. **Stable Internet Connection:**
- Ensure your internet connection is stable. Sometimes, fluctuations in the internet can cause smart devices to disconnect.

6. **Reboot Devices:**
- Regularly reboot your router, SmartThings hub, and affected devices. Sometimes, a simple reboot can resolve connectivity issues.

7. **Check Network Capacity:**
- If you have many devices connected to your Wi-Fi network, it might be overloaded. Consider upgrading to a router with a higher capacity or using a mesh network system.

8. **SmartThings Hub Placement:**
- Place the SmartThings hub in a central location and as close as possible to the devices experiencing disconnections.

9. **Factory Reset:**
- As a last resort, consider performing a factory reset on the affected devices and re-adding them to the SmartThings network.

By following these steps, you should be able to improve the connectivity and reduce the frequency of disconnections for your Samsung AC and washing machine.
