Hey there I have oreo in my j7 nxt, after the recent releases or updates from Samsung. Have you ever forgot your password? Well this happened to me few months ago I change my password and guess what, forgot it. if this had happened to you you might have an idea about the possible ways to unlock the thing in your hand.
1) The first and foremost step is to use the Samsung account to unlock your phone. this again requires at least a Samsung account, in which you must have signed in and your phone should be online that is it must be connected to the Wi-Fi or cellular network but this was not the case with me I had no Wi-Fi as well as cellular network. Now things become painful after this, for me there was only one thing to do that is to go to Samsung service centre so that they will unlock my phone which would eventually erase all of my data and for confirmation even called the service centre and they confirmed that my data will be erased so for second option I should go to the Android recovery mode and erase all the data so that I can get access to my phone. clearly second option was the only hope I had and it was quite easier for me to do that so I did that. if I had the ability to turn my data on I mean cellular data then my data would have been saved. I am quite happy that it lost Samsung with the new update about this feature from which you can turn on your cellular network from the lock screen without needing to unlock your phone this is clearly the life saving update.
well this is quite long but at last I just wanna ask you if you know other ways share it with our friends so that if we forgot the password in future like me then it would be saving there as.... . you know it!
