The apps that I've downloaded from PlayStore why their updates arrive in Galaxy Store(also)?

it's like that only...Samsung provide their own galaxy store and android comes from Google hence Google provide their own play store....but I recommend you to update apps from play store only.....few apps are made by Samsung...please download those apps from galaxy store

It Should be good if Samu wants to help their Customers by Giving updates from his own Galaxy Store and trying to Remove the Dependency on Google Play Store, Though it's a very Hard nut to Crack bt can be Cracked by doing Some Bug fixes...Like....
1.They should roll out updates for all Third Party Apps and not just Very Few only
2. They now a days rolling out updates even Prior to Play Store with New Version even from Play Store, But problem is that even if you update that latest Version from Galaxy Store you need to update the Same again with same version on Play Store..Means this Play Store is not Validating this Update..Hence Validation is to be there for theses G.Store updated Apps..
Hence these two Mani issues need to be resolved hence they should stop giving updates for third party Apps or Give us an option in Galaxy Store to Enable or Disable Updates for Third Party Apps from G.Store...

if it will be like that ..then it will void partnership agreement..because you can't update android system built in apps from there ...as an example device health services, Google play service ,etc

Yes. I've noticed this too.. I downloaded paytm from play store now updates come on Galaxy store. 😂

Only update Samsung apps via Galaxy Store.
Update all other apps via Playstore as its secure and has the latest version than that of the galaxy store.

Samsung developed galaxy store as one stop app for wearables and phones integrating as many apps as possible

2 reasons for user's

China doesn't allow Google playstore... so Samsung uses galaxy store in China for Apps
.(Galaxy apps is available on the Chinese market, and Google play is not. )

since you are obsly using Samsung phone it will optimize it's device algorithm for customised experience.... which in turn provides better app suggestion and integration with Samsung devices...


the app devs upload their apps in Google playstore first so there will be version difference

Actually the updates which you get in galaxy store are more optimized and safe for samsung devices specifically other than the update you get in playstore.

But galaxy store app updates are not the newer version of the apps, which we get in playstore.

Bro..Now a days the Scenario has changed...We people now recieved the updated new Version third party Apps first on Galaxy Store and later to Play Store but only Very-2 Few third Party updates rollout on Galaxy Store and not all...I have already posted this issue on this Forum..

Issue is that even if we update these first on Galaxy Store with latest new version then also same App needs to be updated again on Play Store...I mean Play Store not Validating these updates...then what is the fun of updating through Galaxy Store ??
