Notice the difference on Status Bar

I have seen that few members have been complaining about Airtel isn't giving Unlimited 5G.

I think the problem is the way we see how it works. Here there are 2 signs for 5G. The problem might be you are shown the 2nd sign. The 2nd sign shows that you are connected to 5G Tower but you are only getting 4G network due to insuffient frequency of 5G.

Which means you will keep losing your data of Airtel until the 2nd sign is shown.

Its actually that most people don't know this, so I just wanted to let you guys know.

There's a simpler way to put this. The opaque 5G sign means its SA 5G (which uses dedicated 5G tech) while the transparent 5G sign means its NSA 5G (which uses LTE tech).

Its not about Airtel or Jio, its about the device software. Airtel does test SA 5G sometimes, which might have led to what you are saying. Opaque means SA. You can refer to the documentation in the image posted by the author for further clarity.

In airtel opaque means good frequency 5g and non opaque means very low frequency 5g or false 5g you can say, airtel only have NSA and jio is very different case.
