First time samsung user pretty bad expereince with software update

I have been an iPhone user for nearly five years, and while my experience was positive, I sought a change and transitioned to the Samsung S24 Plus, my first Samsung device.

I am satisfied with the phone's hardware and continue to enjoy using it; in fact, I am currently utilizing Galaxy AI to compose this message.

However, I am extremely disappointed with Samsung's software support. Despite last year's announcement of seven years of software updates for the S24 series, I have yet to receive the Android 15 update. Competitors such as Motorola, previously criticized for slow updates, have already released Android 15 for their previous year's models. Other manufacturers, including OnePlus, Xiaomi, and even Infinix, are also ahead of Samsung in this regard.

The significant delays in the One UI 7/Android 15 rollout are deeply frustrating. Even more frustrating is how samsung ia handling this delay situation.

I am uncertain whether my next phone will be a Samsung device, and I would hesitate to recommend Samsung phones based on this experience.
