Black bars on many apps In horizontal orientation

Many apps like chrome, Nvidia geforce now, pdf viewer apps, and other shows this ugly black bar where the status bar and camera is. Any way to force full screen these apps?

Go to these settings in Settings>Display>Camera cutout.
Or try
Settings>Display>Full screen apps

Yup that works! I'm not sure if my older POCO phone had that option tho
