I have purchased Note 20 Ultra from Abu dhabi (UAE) . While using it in india with jio 5G only 4g network is coming instead of 5G visited samsung care they said there is a country lock code which needs to be break an new indian UI version needs to be installed / upgraded . They said during repair it will not be their responsibilty if the device gets dead or non opeartionable ....it is upto the customer only they will not gonna provide any repair or warranty or claim regarding the same..... shall i go for it for upgradation or be like this and using 4g only....

You should always initially(device first setup process) put a sim card of the country where you want to use it.

I would suggest you to wait until jio fully rolls out 5G put of the testing phase. Currently its pretty unstable and not worth the risk of loosing phone warranty.

Still what if you are unhappy about jio 5G and your phone gets damaged? Anyways shelling out so much money and loosing a properly functioning device for 5G in testing phase is not worth as per me. My suggestion though, its your choice! All the best

Change the Sim slot. Use Sim 2 for data, it works.
