HI,

I am currently facing issues using the 5G network in India with my Samsung S23 Ultra running on One UI 6.0, purchased in the UAE and connected to Reliance Jio. Despite checking the supported network bands (India n78 with Jio and UAE n78 with Etisalat), I am unable to access the 5G network in India. Strangely, the device works flawlessly on the 5G network in the UAE with Etisalat.

I performed similar tests with a Samsung A54 5G (also purchased in the UAE) and an iPhone 13 Pro Max (purchased in the UAE), both of which successfully connect to the 5G network when using the same Reliance Jio SIM. To troubleshoot, I attempted to reset the network settings and performed a hard reset on the Samsung S23 Ultra, but unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue.

Concerned about the situation, I visited the Samsung customer care center near my location. However, I was informed that the device is not covered under warranty, despite being purchased only five months ago.

I am genuinely upset about this situation and seeking suggestions or solutions. Has anyone encountered a similar issue or can offer advice on how to resolve this problem? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The same sim works perfectly in I phone, and Samsung s54 bought from outside of INDIA

iPhone does not have country wise specific models due to less customisation. Samsung customises its features as per the country specific laws. Hence Jio has used this to restrict its 5G until its in testing phase (my speculation).

A54 uae model has same cse as which is in indian model that why jio is working. But your s23 ultra is not an made in indian unit that why it's is not working. But u would be happy to know that after one ui 6 update you will be able to use it that is for sure.
As iphone has international warranty due to this their is no region network restriction in iphone.
I hope that you get my point.
