Dear Samsung Team,

I’ve been using my Galaxy S22 5G (Compact Edition) for 2 years, 6 months, and 26 days. I purchased this device because of its compact size and amazing camera, which still performs brilliantly to this day. The overall experience has been great for my needs.

As a casual gamer, I play titles like BGMI and FC Mobile, and this phone has handled them quite well. My average screen-on time is 5 hours 15 minutes, and I usually charge it twice a day, with around 155% battery usage daily. While the battery performance is mostly fine, I carry a power bank during longer trips, which helps me manage it.

The phone does heat up during heavy usage, especially while:

Watching videos continuously at 70–80% brightness,

Playing games like BGMI and FC Mobile, or

Using the camera for a long duration to capture photos and record videos.

That said, the heat isn’t very noticeable when using a cover. It also doesn’t impact the camera output, though I’ve observed video frame drops around 3–4 times—but nothing major.

However, something unexpected happened today.
When I woke up and turned on the phone, I was shocked to see a thin green line on the left side of the screen. I restarted the device, but the line is still there.

This is extremely disappointing from a flagship S series device, especially one that has served me so well until now. I never expected such an issue from a trusted brand like Samsung.

If anyone else is facing a similar green line issue, please share your experience or how you resolved it.

Kindly requesting the Samsung Support Team to look into this matter and help me find a solution. I truly love this device and would appreciate your support.

Thank you & Regards,

Hi, this happened for lot of samsung devices other than flagships. This is really disappointing buying a flagship phone and then green line issue. When you change phone in future please go for iphone. Atleast they don't give green line issue for older phones and their update is always on time.

have a 2 green line on my s22, first it came green then pink and now its 1 green in the center and right corner its green and white, you will have to replace the display, when i went to service center they quoted 10k, but they didn't replace as my device is from south america, and they won't do it unless it shows my iemi nunber on their database, which it wont since its not a indian device, and these guys will refuse to repair even though im ready to pay. 😂, will check out other service center as this one quotes 10k other have quoted 15k
