I’m posting this to flag a serious product-quality and accountability issue.

My Samsung device (Model: SM-F916B) developed a display line issue immediately after a Samsung official software update. The device was functioning normally prior to the update. There was no physical damage, no liquid ingress, and no misuse.

Yes, the warranty period has expired — however, that is not the core issue here.

This defect appears to be:
1. Triggered by Samsung’s own software update.
2. Systemic in nature, not isolated misuse
3. A known risk pattern seen globally. where firmware updates overstress display hardware.

At the authorized Samsung Service Centre in Cochin, the issue was dismissed citing “Out of Country” and warranty status. When I contacted Samsung Customer Care, I was told that no support or even a complaint acknowledgement could be provided.

Let’s be very clear:
1. A software update is not optional experimentation by the customer.
2. Customers update devices based on Samsung’s assurance of stability and safety.
3. If an official update introduces a hardware failure, liability does not vanish with warranty expiry.

This is not about free replacement.
This is about Samsung owning a defect introduced by its own update pipeline.

I am seeking:
1. Technical escalation of this issue as a software-induced defect
2. Acknowledgement that this is not customer-caused damage
3. A fair resolution aligned with Samsung’s global quality standards.

Posting this for visibility and responsible escalation. I expect Samsung moderators to take this forward internally.

Kindly complaint to Samsung customer care support through Samsung Members app as error report also send log files along with this error report for this issue. Then go to service center for replace/repair it's. If you like please accept it's as a solution it's help to other users also, click on 3dots in my reply section and click on accept solution. Thanks.
