You have option to lock and hide albums in gallery for example your documdocuments etc.
however, in files folder dcim (internal storage) they are assessible, there should be a finger print or lock funtion on tjode folders tooo!
If phone is unlocked it is a workaround fo access all the locked folders.
Samsung ( need some end users fof testing).

Hello! You have pointed out a very valid security concern. The "Lock Album" feature in the Gallery is designed for quick privacy, but for true system-wide security where files shouldn't be accessible even via My Files (Internal Storage), Samsung provides a much more powerful tool.
Here is how you can solve this "Workaround" permanently:
1. Use "Secure Folder" (The Ultimate Lock):
Secure Folder uses Samsung Knox (Hardware-level security). When you move a photo or document here, it is encrypted and completely disappears from the regular DCIM folder and My Files.
Go to Settings > Security and Privacy > Secure Folder and set it up with your Fingerprint.
To hide files: Open My Files, long-press your folder/file, tap More (three dots), and select "Move to Secure Folder".
Now, even if the phone is unlocked, no one can see these files in the DCIM folder without your secondary fingerprint.
2. The ".nomedia" Trick (Quick Fix):
If you want to hide a folder from the Gallery but don't want to use Secure Folder:
Open My Files > DCIM.
Create a new empty file inside that specific folder and name it exactly: .nomedia
This tells the Android system to stop scanning this folder for media. It will disappear from the Gallery instantly.
3. Password Protect Folders in My Files:
While Android doesn't allow locking individual folders inside "My Files" directly yet, Samsung is continuously improving Knox. Your suggestion to have a fingerprint lock on every internal folder is great feedback!
4. Beta Testing / Feedback:
You mentioned needing end-users for testing—the best way to join the "Security Beta" is through the Samsung Members App > Benefits Section. Look for the "One UI Beta Program" banner when it's live!
⚠️ Note:
For documents and private photos, Secure Folder is the only way to ensure they are 100% invisible in the DCIM directory. If this setup solved your privacy concern, please click the three dots (⋮) and select "Accept as Solution". 💙🚀
