I have issues with Z Flip 3, the sim is not detecting and IMEI shows unknown. It's overheating and restarts by itself but otherwise able to use any apps via wifi. I took it to a service center and initially they said it is software issue but after a day I got updates as they aren't able to update the software since the phone gets restart when it's overheated and there is disconnect between the phone and their computer. So they suggested to operate the phone and look into the motherboard and it will cost 31,000 to replace the motherboard. I am confused since the phone is working fine on wifi. If it's motherboard issue then the phone would have died.
Note: This issue started by itself and there is no physical damage. It is 20 months old and out of warranty.
I got the phone back and looking for advice! Please help.
As per your concern, the service center already inspected your device and guided the repair and if your device is out of warranty then you have to pay the charges.
