Hi Team

I have been a Samsung Galaxy S7 EDGE and Galaxy S10 phone user for the past 7 years, and with so much confidence I purchased the Galaxy Z flip 4 phone in Aug 2022. I was very much excited with the design and the features and considering it is from Samsung, it was a no-brainer for me to go for it. It has been just close to 9 months and suddenly it blackened out one day. I was thinking it would be some minor software issue and when I took the authorised service centre, I was surprised when they mentioned that the screen is broken. I have been handling this phone with utmost care and without any physical damage. During regular usage itself I am surprised how come the screen can break. When I looked at the Samsung official community forum, I was taken aback to see many complaints from all over the world about Galaxy z flip phone screen breaking within the warranty period without physical damage.

It is really disappointing to know that the world class renowned Samsung has come with a product that they claimed and advertise that its fourth generation foldable Galaxy Fold as being 'unbreakable' that it has survived more than 400,000 folds in an intensive durability test. Unfortunately, this is not true and on top of this Samsung knowing that this problem exists has not come up with any solution. The service centre mentioned that the screen is not under warranty and therefore to an already pricey phone they are requesting for repair charges of 30,000 rupees. This is ridiculous, if the flip screen is so fragile then what is the purpose of claiming that this is a foldable phone when the fold screen is an issue with a breakable screen. Samsung should take the responsibility of withdrawing this model and replacing its customer with a phone that is equivalent to the cost of this. 

I am looking forward and confident that Samsung India will come up with a good solution for this issue. Till then I need to keep contacting in all possible forums
