Update: Samsung has honoured its warranty and repaired the device within no time! Thanks Samsung! 

The timeline is as under:

1. Visited samsung service centre in Pune on Saturday December 2, 2023. The engineer inspected the device and verified no physical damage at all and checked my video for the issue i was facing. He placed the order for the requisite parts to repair.

2. Today, December 5, 2023 i received a call from the service centre at 1.45 PM that the parts are availble and i need to submit my device.

3. I submitted the device on December 5, 2023 at 3.15 pm today by taking proper backup

4. I received the call that the device is repaired and can be collected on December 5, 2023 at 4.55 PM.

5. They replaced the display, hinge, side panels and battery of the device without paying a single rupee! 

Check the 1st video where the screen flickers while the phone is folded or opened at around 49 -50 seconds

There is no damage on the phone at all. Will samsung replace the parts under warranty?

Yep. I already visited the service centre and they have ordered parts for it. But whether they would offer replacement in warranty is yet to be clear and they told they will inspect more once the parts are in and i submit my device to them

As there is no physical damage so it should be repaired under warranty.

Yes they do have Durability issues. Do you have insurance? Or extended warranty?

Got the phone repaired within 2 hours after submitting into samsung sc. They replaced screen, hinge, battery, sides. Only cover screen, back panel and motherboard old now 🤣🤣🤣
