Dear Samsung Good Lock Team,

As a loyal Galaxy user, I urge you to develop a dedicated App Lock module within Good Lock to secure individual Samsung apps with biometric or PIN authentication. Good Lock’s robust customization capabilities, like LockStar and Home Up, are impressive, but the absence of a native app lock feature is a noticeable gap. The Secure Folder is effective but cumbersome for locking single apps, unlike iPhone’s seamless per-app locking with Face ID. A Good Lock App Lock module would enhance privacy, allowing users to protect apps like Gallery, Messages, or Samsung Pay without third-party solutions, which often raise security concerns or battery drain issues.

Compared to competitors, brands like OnePlus, Xiaomi, and Vivo offer built-in app lock features in their budget and mid-range devices, often priced under $300, with flexible biometric and PIN options. For instance, Xiaomi’s MIUI and OnePlus’s OxygenOS provide intuitive app locking directly in settings, no additional apps needed. Samsung’s premium devices, often exceeding $700, lack this feature, relying on Secure Folder or third-party apps like Norton, which may introduce costs or privacy risks. Integrating App Lock into Good Lock would align Samsung with competitors while leveraging your customization expertise, enhancing user trust and experience.

Samsung should bring back their old app called S-secure, which is an app lock or as an inbuilt feature. Even though we have secure folder, an app lock 🔐 is also needed for some cases. Nice suggestions 😊🙏.
