after the latest s/w update on my galaxy s8 i simply couldn't get notifications on my fossil q smart watch which is connected via Bluetooth

i tried to dig around settings to see if some permission was blocked,but it wasn't

tried resetting and other usual stuff
but still am unable to get notifications

1) Kindly navigate to Settings >> Select the Smart Watch Connecting App >> Clear Cache.
2) Kindly navigate to Settings >> Notifications >> Allow the application to receive the notification
3) Navigate to Settings >> Apps >> Tap on More >> Reset App Preferences.
