It’s surprising that in Samsung One UI, there’s no option to set a personal/custom tone for SMS or notifications on a per-contact or per-app basis.
This has been a basic feature in smartphones for years, available even in older Android versions and other custom skins like MIUI, OxygenOS, and others. Just like we can set a custom audio file as our ringtone, we should be able to choose our own tone for SMS and app notifications—not just rely on the limited default options.
For users who prefer personalization, this feels like a missing piece in an otherwise polished UI. Please consider adding this feature in the next One UI update!
