Is samsung galaxy s7 edge is water proof? and is its glass is strong? or have to put glass protector?

it's water resistance.

glass is glass, if you drop it be prepared to pick up a phone with a newly cracked screen. I have on my s7 edge clear coat and couldn't be happier as a total phone protector.
