most of the samsung phones are region dependent....
need to flash with region firmware to fix it...
I am from india and purchased s7 edge from UAE ..
What i am doing is.. downloaded and keeping both official roms (XSG and INS)
when i was in India i use INS firmware and in uae i use XSG.....
all will change... will get volte feature, even samsung members community , samsung pay regions and offers will change.

Thanks for the reply. One more thing, should i go to samsung service centre to change the firmware or do it self via odin. If doing it by myself, is there any chance of Bricking the phone?

@Cookie... chance to brick your phone is rare....
you can take a precaution that .. do a factory reset from recovery mode before odin flash.... dont turn on the phone and then get direct to download mode... flash the firmware....

if you don't want to flash your device (it's a bit risky) you can backup your stuff and do a factory reset.

Then insert your new sim (NZ in your case) during the initial setup process (important step).

This will change most of the Samsung apps to the new region settings including Samsung members, Samsung pay and the Samsung app store.
