After update the ui2.5 my mic isn't working properly when i receive the call the other person don't hear my voice until i put it on the speaker and once mic started then i can put the speaker off.
But when i make the call the mic works properly. I don't need to put the call on speaker.

Same issue with s9+. Please solve!!! It shouldn't happen in these top of range smartphones...

I too am experiencing a similar issue since their latest update, i first had issues that kept closing my call app and after they resolved that problem, now this.

Samsung should really look to resolve this issue with an update rather than tell the customers to reset their phone that could possible erase a lot of their data.

It honestly seems like a way of Samsung trying to get their old user into buying their newer devices.

I had that too after UI 2.5

I reset the phone and it fixed it for 1 week then back again

Dear, after some tests it seems properly working removing bixby features: vocal activation, automatic listening, use with locked smartphone and other features letting bixby automatic activation. After different incoming calls it seems properly working. Please let me know your experience.

Dear thermax04,
you will find this option in bixby voice setting: I have an option that literally translated in English is "Use with locked smartphone", you should deactivate this. I suppose this disables the continuous bixby listening function even with locked smartphone. Other functions that I found (always in Bixby settings) are "bixby dictation", "automatic listening", "vocal activation" and at least I deactivated the notifications.

Here is to confirm that CaMa method to turn off all good -for - nothing Bixiby  features solved the problem , and there is nothing wrong or defected in our phones rather than Samsung stupid updates

Thanks CaMa - I can confirm that you solution worked for me.

I turned off the Bixby Voice permissions, and now when people call me my microphone is working again and people can hear me talk.

I had the same issue. Very annoying. I uninstalled/ deactivated bixby and the problem so far has been corrected. Fingers crossed 🤞 it continues to work as it should. The issue did begin after an update which from memory involved bixby
