"Change system settings" permission

Hi,

 I use McAfee security app on my S20+(I got its subscription with my laptop). 

It needs "Change system settings" permission.

Is it okay to give this permission?

What can this permission do?

Will it slow down the phone?

in my opinion not okay because it wants to get very important permission .

The security that the phone comes with in device and security is already powered by McAfee Anti-virus. So I really don't think you need two Anti-virus programs running.
