fingerprint sensor should work on off screen

I want to raise one very important issue which I'm facing while using Samsung phone. I am using Samsung galaxy s7 edge in which if I have to open the phone i have to 1st turn on the screen 1st then fingerprint sensor work but on most of the phone it's automatically work if user touch the fingerprint sensor .This feature look as it's a proper smart phone.so Samsung should work on this issue and hope Samsung should consider this issue .

dost question ko theek se padho main keh raha hu ki i should not press the home key ..i just want to touch the fingerprint sensor and it should open the phone automatically

No not work on the off screen... 1st turn on then work..... Yes samsung should pay attention on this issue....

bro you will be little shocked that almost all Chinese phone companies provide this feature in there phone -vivo , oppo, redmi and one plus etc so there will be no issue for Samsung to implement that

what you are saying is right. but in that case the fingerprint sensor will stay on and continuously check for a match even there is no finger on it. that will consume more power. that's why apple also does not provide this.

Bhai logically baat karo....fingerprint sensor work with touch of finger not by putting in pocket it will work . redmi k phone ki battery backup kaafi acha hai usse dekho
