I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the removal of the bottom swipe gesture to access Gemini on my Samsung S23 FE with the latest software update. I found this gesture to be a very convenient and intuitive way to quickly access the AI assistant.
With its removal, the primary options are now a long press on the power button or using voice commands. While these are functional, they are not as seamless or quick as the bottom swipe gesture, especially when using the phone one-handed or when needing immediate access without speaking aloud.
The bottom swipe gesture felt like a natural extension of the phone's navigation and made interacting with Gemini feel integrated into the user experience. Its absence makes accessing the AI assistant feel less fluid and more cumbersome.
I urge you to reconsider this change and consider bringing back the option for the bottom swipe gesture
