Samsung quality has gone for the toss! I have S23 Ultra 1TB and its back cover has a 1mm gap have a look at attached pic. To resolve this issue I visited Samsung Service center in Prime mall Irla in Andheri at 6:03PM. Service center guys told me submissions are only till 6pm and deliveries till 8PM this rule was no where mentioned (have a look at attached image As per Sign board at Samsung Service center their operating hours are from 10AM to 8PM) I requested them to have a look at my problem if this is a battery issue or something else. Person told it seems a seal issue and not a battery issue and asked me to visit tomorrow. What a nonsense Service when this issue is fixable in 40~60mins! 


Apparently S23 Ultra 1TB is no longer a Premium for Samsung and Samsung Service center is no longer interested in supporting you. Its now time to shift to iPhone. Journey which started with Samsung Galaxy Fit (S5670) in 2011 till that has come to an end.

A couple of months ago same back panel issue popped up on my wife's out of warranty A53(Indonesian variant) , I went to the service center in Delhi at around 6:30 pm, folks there were cordial and fixed the issue with in 30 minutes that also free of cost. They also had this rule 6pm deadline rule but they weren't **bleep** about it. It all depends upon the mood of the service provider and the way you talk to them. I do agree that Samsung should mention the 6pm thing in writing to avoid such hassles.

I was literally begging to have a look. At risk of sounding entitled (samsung has a Premium desk for flagship phones) this is not what i expect for a 1.6 lac phone

I get your point man, but the 'human element' affects everything in service industry. Samsung needs to put these basic terms and conditions in Bold on their website/service centres, so as to avoid any conflict.

Exactly. If this would have been a top end apple phone they would have ignored extra 3mins

Not really, took Unicorn over a moth to fix the touch id on my IPad and that also after I made multiple complaints with Apple. That particular store was bad, maybe some other store would have offered better service. In general it is the same thing, the bloody human element and desi inefficiency. I'd suggest you book an appointment using the Members app to avoid any more hassle.
