So I've been having this issue with my S23 Ultra. Whenever I try to watch a 4K video on YouTube it starts lagging after just a minute and then the app crashes. Do u know why this is happening? I'm fed up with Samsung. They never seem to care about their users and it's so sad that you're forcing me to buy an Apple device because ur user experience is still so poor compared to Apple's. I can't believe it.

My phone's software and apps are all up to date even the Google Play system update. However this issue has been around for ages and Samsung doesn't seem to care.

First understand that the issue is not in others device . If samsung doesn't cares about this then how youtube is working in other phones.
However try uninstalling the updates and then update it again

I tried everything even testing it on a Samsung S24 Ultra at the Samsung showroom and it also crashed. Just Google this issue and you'll see how many people have reported it online. I'm not alone and u need to watch true high quality 4k video or 4k hdr video for few minutes it will start lagging and then crash the app

Yup I've been dealing with this YouTube app issue since I had my Samsung S8+. It's been years and they still can't seem to fix it. Or may be it's their chipset limitations only god knows what's the real issue
