Why my S23 throttles a lot?

It does not show a similar average score in Antutu and Geekbench. Can you suggest some measures to help me fix that? The battery also dies very fast, giving 3.5 hours of screen-on time in daily use without gaming, editing, or other heavy tasks. I am tired of charging this device three times a day.

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern, we want to inform you that we does not recommends to use any third party application for check the battery health and score of Samsung device.

You can also check the battery health using the Samsung Members app, Battery Status(Battery Status (Battery life + Battery Capacity)). if it shows bad or weak then you have to visit the service center, else it is showing normal there is no need to worry.

Please perform the below-mentioned troubleshooting steps, these may help in resolving your Battery drainage concern.

Note: Charge in one go instead of charging many times as it affects the life span of battery and battery performance.

1. Perform Battery Optimization: Go to Settings > Select Device Maintenance/Device Care > Optimize > Optimize all options like Battery, Storage, and Memory.

2. Turn off Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth etc. when not in use.

3. Check device network fluctuation.
Avoid usage in areas with low network/fluctuation.

4. Reduce the display brightness level or set the device to auto-brightness mode.

5. Adjust screen timeout settings: Go to Settings > Display > Screen timeout > Select the minimum screen timeout.

6. Check which application is or interface is using more battery from device care and try to update app or avoid using that app.

7. Close background running apps.

8. Turn off auto sync of e-mails, app data etc.
Open notification panel > Turn off auto sync option.

9. Update software: Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install > Check for software update > If Software update available > Download > Downloading updates > Install now
Note: Your phone will restart after the update is installed.

10. Reset the device:
IMPORTANT:
• Kindly create data backup of your device via SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
• Remember google password before resetting the device because it is required during initial setup.
• If you do not remember it, then reset, (Forgot password) your google account.
• For this:
• Open Gmail (https://accounts.google.com/servicelogin) > forgot password >Select ""try another way"" > Next > Enter a new password > Next

Please follow the below steps to reset the device:
Settings > General Management > Reset > Temporary cloud backup or External storage backup > tab on Factory data reset (This will erase all data, including files and downloaded apps)

If the issue still persists, after performing all troubleshooting steps, would request you to please visit the service center. Below is the link to find nearest service center

S21 and S22 series blessed with green lines after update, S23 series blessed with battery drain from Samsung after update, don't worry too much brother S23 series will get green lines soon, sending updates to cloud. My S23 ultra is becoming a joke with battery backup after recent updates.
