First of all, whoever reads this issue of mine should be patient and read the whole thing : 👇🏻

I take care of this phone like my baby. Due to which my phone still has no scratches or dents.

13th May, 2024 One UI 6.1 update rolled out for my Samsung S22 Ultra. I updated on 15th May, 2024. Since the update, the display problem has appeared, there is a thick white bar next to the left side of the front camera cut-out and the whole screen turned to green tinted, which is also visible in the picture I have provided.

As we know, Samsung's software update policy is now for 4 years of Android and 3 years of security update. So we users do not update despite the update appears in notification again and again? Even if the company does not have proper software R&D, why are you rolling out the problematic updates? And after updating, most of the users are experiencing various problems. This is not at all desirable for such a large company like you.
Is this problem solvable by the next software update? 🤞🏻

Samsung Members' Community, X, Google, Youtube etc. are filled with such complaints about Samsung flagships.
So, is this a trick of Samsung, forcing you to buy a new one by destroying the old one!!!

My handset's warranty is over now.
Samsung please give me any proper solution for this. 🙏🏻 And try to send proper update at least so that the user does not have any problem. Above all, do not downgrade it while updating (Update means only update, not downgrade due to new problems). 🙏🏻

I've no fault for this problem. Can you tell why I will suffer unnecessarily? Now what should I do Samsung??? Please don't tell me now to go to the service center to pay and fix it that the update sent by you is the cause of the issue. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Dear Samsung,

I recently updated the software on my S22 Ultra to One UI 6.1, and I am experiencing an issue with a thick white bar appearing near the camera cutout. This issue is quite concerning and disappointing, as it affects the overall functionality and aesthetics of the device.

While switching to 60Hz temporarily resolves the issue, it is not a permanent solution. I kindly request your assistance in providing a suitable solution to address this problem. If necessary, I believe it would be appropriate to replace the affected screen free of charge, as this issue appears to be a result of the software update.

Moving forward, I would like to express my concern regarding the release of software updates that may potentially impact the performance and reliability of devices. It is crucial to ensure thorough testing and validation before releasing updates to avoid such inconveniences for users.

Hi, was your product under warranty.

Galaxy S
Dear Samsung,

I have updated my s22 ultra to One UI 6.1 on june 1st, 2024. From then on, i saw a white line to the right side of the front camera cut-out, and the whole screen turned to green shade. There is no damage to the scrèen from my side. This happened just after the software update. My warranty was also completed. I dont want to suffer without my fault in this situation.Attaching the screenshot for the same.
Are you going to solve this issue with the next update. If not, provide a permanent solution for this.
Please respond ASAP.

Thankyou,
