Recently, after the security patch update for my S23 Ultra, I've noticed an issue with my WhatsApp microphone. Whenever I try to record a WhatsApp voice note, I can hear an intermittent voice behind it, like a subtle whistling or vibrating sound. However, when I record a voice note on Instagram and Facebook Messenger, there are no issues with the audio quality. I also installed WhatsApp Business, but the same problem persists there. I'm not sure if Samsung is planning to release an update to fix this bug.

Given the issue you're experiencing with WhatsApp after a security patch update on your S23 Ultra, here are some troubleshooting steps you can take to potentially resolve the problem:

1. Check App Permissions
Ensure WhatsApp has the necessary permissions to use your microphone:
- Go to Settings > Apps > WhatsApp > Permissions > Microphone. Ensure it's allowed.

2. Update WhatsApp

3. Clear Cache and Data for WhatsApp
Clearing the cache and data can resolve app-specific issues:
- Go to Settings > Apps > WhatsApp > Storage > Clear cache.

4. Reinstall WhatsApp
Uninstalling and reinstalling WhatsApp can sometimes fix persistent issues.

8. Report the Bug
Report the issue to both WhatsApp and Samsung:
- In WhatsApp, go to Settings > Help >Contact us to report the issue.
