What is this Samsung KMS Agent app?

Noticed Samsjng KMS Agent app automatically installed in my S22 Ultra. When I clicked that it opens playstore where it shows "This app is no longer compatible with your device. Contact the developers for more info".

Description. Samsung KMS (SKMS) Agent is a client application for Android devices to support eSE-based mobile-NFC services. SKMS Agent manages the protocol with SKMS and forwards SKMS commands to eSE. SKMS Agent is used for interfaces between client applications & SKMS and SKMS & eSE.

Do you use your phone for work also? That might be a reason. These apps are usually controlled by admins.

There could me many reasons why this app is not compatible.

It may not target Android 12 SDK, it might be released for an older version of Android. In some cases, the RAM is not sufficient enough, etc.

And many such apps are not designed for end consumers, so it's simply incompatible if any user tries to access it.
