Noticed 2 options missing on my S21 having 2 sims, 1 Bsnl and 2 Airtel.

Option "use mobile data during calls" is not available under "Mobile Networks".

Also, 2nd sim Airtel does not show Volte Calls option under Mobile Networks

I have tried resetting network settings, tried airplane mode toggling, tried reboot, tried removing sim and putting it back, no changes.

Is there anything else i can try

You need to ask your carrier for volte. And your 2 nd option is renamed as data switching and back up calling.

Noticed some strange behavior, not sure it is phone related or sim or network

On S21, i put Bsnl as 1 and Airtel as 2nd sim. Volte calls option shows only for Bsnl but Bsnl does not show any volte in the status bar. Tried swapping sim's, only Bsnl continues to show in settings for toggling volte.

Moved Airtel sim to a Samsung J6 phone as 1st sim and it shows Volte Calls setting.

On S21, replaced Airtel with Jio sim and it shows Volte options in settings for both sims. Jio seems to have additional option VoNR if 5g is used.

Does this mean that Bsnl and Airtel have a tussel and some sort of conflict. I moved to Bsnl due to signal issues, many a times it shows Emergency Calls only. This Bsnl sim also at times shows Emergency Calls.

Is there some problem with the phone.

I had few months back a factory reset for another issue.

"Use internet during calls" option itself is not available.

Device was restarted multiple times.
Data roaming is enabled.
Tried switching 5g/lte to lte/3g.
Device software is up to date.

Read about some volte issues with recent updates.
