I have S10 Lite. My type C headphones that come along the box were working last night but now suddenly stopped. When i connect it, it shows USB connector connected but the sound comes from the phone. when i remove them it shows USB connector disconnected in the notification pannel. I have updated all the apps, tried rebooting in safe mode but the issue still persist.

And seems like i am not the only person who is facing the issue.

Also attaching the comments from the Samsung USB C app from galaxy store.

Seems to be a software issue please solve it ASAP.

Is it original samsung product if not they may not work

It happened to me before I am using s22 and when I pluged non-original usb c earphone it would say it's non genuine product. But today when I bought an original one it works

I was able to figure out a solution to this problem for my s22 ultra. S

tep #1 turn on developer options, if you are unaware of how to do so Google it. Step #2 scroll down to the media option section and turn off DISABLE USB AUDIO ROUTING!!! That's it simple as that as soon as I turned it off my adapter worked on my Sennheiser headphones

ok it worked for me.

Before inserting USBC headphones and then restarting while the cable is still in, I also made sure Routing in dev options is off and USB debugging is off as well + made sure all Apps in the Gallaxy store + Phone software are up to date.

I hope it will help others to solve the issue.

Tried restarting the phone multiple times, even in safe mode.
Have checked the headphones in other device working fine.
