Turning on Wifi and Hotspot at same time

Hi Samsung Community,

I am using Galaxy S23 from past 20-30 Days, and found that we can't turn on hotspot and wifi at a same time.

Could anyone please provide the solution for the same to turn on both at same time??

Thats impossible for any phone.
No, under normal circumstances, you cannot use both Wi-Fi and Mobile Hotspot at the same time on most smartphones, including the Galaxy S23.

However, there is a workaround called Wi-Fi Sharing on the Galaxy S23:Steps to Enable Wi-Fi Sharing:Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Hotspot and Tethering.Select Mobile Hotspot.Tap on the three dots in the top right corner or scroll down.Enable Wi-Fi Sharing.

This feature allows you to share your existing Wi-Fi connection via the hotspot, which effectively lets you connect other devices to the same Wi-Fi network through your phone.

You can't do this because the Wi-Fi chip can only turn on one thing at a time on phones.

No it was possible with my previous POCO X2 phone. Initially it was not possible but after Android 11 update in 2021 this functionality was unlocked.

Yeah, i am also missing this functionality in my Galaxy M35.

Just checked it, you have to turn on wifi sharing option from Hotspot settings,check if it's available in your phone.
