but in my latest research, I found that this sensor will be used with Drones, automated cars, medical, smart home devices such as vacuum cleaner,  and much more equipment but this sensor won't be used in the smartphone because it will be overkill for the smartphone as already we know Samsung is expertise in IoT devices  so Samsung will use this sensor on them not on smartphones

Its not about sensor size always. Its about how you harness the power of the sensor, How good your camera algorithms are. For example see Pixel phones or see Old Lumia phones.
