 Should I purchase iPhone 11 or Galaxy S20+?

Please help me decide if you have experience with both.

IPhone 11 is outdated LCD equipped device with 720p resolution. Either go for S20+ or buy new iPhone 12 which has OLED panel.

If you will go with iphone then you will be into its ecosystem and will surely buy most apple accessories and spend your money, if you can then can go with iphone, but beware of the battery on iphones
Going with Samsung will give you great display ,Updates till Android 13 and security patches till 2024, fast charging, seamless viewing experience great performance, not better than iphone but still it would be great.
You can also go for Galaxy S10lite, its powered with snapdragon soc and it a really great device and you don't need to care of it falls as it will not break.
