Screenshot capturing S9+ issues

hi all,
i am unable to take screenshots from my phone.
3 ways i understood through videos
1) usual power button+vol button
2) 2 ways of swiping hand gesture on the screen

can someone actually tell if these are working?
it works only once in 10 times for me?
is the S9+ actually not tested and released foolishly?

Edge to Edge palm swipe is gimmicky, so it is actually turned off by default.

Use vol down + power button if you prefer the screenshot implementation of other phones in the market, or use Smart Select from the edge panel.

Alternatively you're free to use any third party screenshot apps from the playstore which may give you more options to screen capture.

vol down + power actually switches off the phone or reduces vol to 0. its basic functionality a smart phone user needs.

alternative im doing currently is asking google or bixby to take a screenshot for me but im not getting the extended screenshot in this.. :( really disappointed

dude swipe to screenshot works absolutely fyn..on s9+..just place ur palm completely from one side to the other..

bro try doing in chrome..as chrome n many other apps have dere options dots on its right top left edge of screen, many times that pop up during the swipe.. add 2-3 home screens n try doing the swipe..the homescreen will shift..n u wont get the screen capture..
