Galaxy STo set the default screen timeout, multiple options are available in the phone's settings.
A bug has been noticed that might have been persisting in predecessor One UI versions as well.
Observed Bug in One UI Screen Timeout Functionality
After installing One UI 8.5 Beta on the S23, this feature/function was personally tested, and it was found that it doesn't work properly because the phone's default screen timeout settings change according to Mode and Routine's screen timeout.
For instance, if the default screen timeout is set to 30 seconds and 5 or 10 minutes through Routines with "App Opened," it was also tested on an F14 budget phone, which was running on One UI 7.0, and this bug even exists there.
For a better understanding, screen recording is attached herewith.
