Hello! It is common for high-performance phones like the S24 to get warm, especially due to its powerful processor and slim design. If your device is getting "pretty hot," here are 5 ways to fix it:
1. Thermal Guardian (Good Lock):
The best way to control heat is by using Thermal Guardian from the Good Lock app.
Open Thermal Guardian.
Lower the "Thermal Threshold" by 1 or 2 degrees. This will make the phone start cooling down earlier before it gets uncomfortable to hold.
2. Standard vs. Light Performance Mode:
Go to Settings > Device Care > Performance Profile.
Switch from "Standard" to "Light."
This prioritizes cooling and battery life over raw speed without affecting your daily apps or social media experience.
3. Check Background Apps:
Sometimes one app gets "stuck" and drains the battery/CPU.
Go to Settings > Device Care > Battery > Background Usage Limits.
Put unused apps into "Deep Sleep."
4. Network & Connectivity:
If you are in an area with a weak 5G signal, the phone works extra hard to stay connected, which generates heat. Try switching to LTE/4G if you don't need high speeds at that moment.
5. Avoid "Charging + Heavy Use":
Never play heavy games or record long videos while the phone is fast-charging. This is the #1 cause of heat-related battery degradation.
📌 Note: If the phone gets hot even during normal browsing or calls, try a "Wipe Cache Partition" via Recovery Mode. If this helped cool your device, please click (⋮) and "Accept as Solution". 💙🚀
