Hello samsung.
I am using s22 ultra from june 2022 . Today 22nd september 2023 all of sudden i have noticed a backlight bleeding on left side top of my screen, for the same i have contacted to samsung support if they could help to fix the issue, but it didnt worked.
After doing lot of search i found the issue is not only happend to me it happend to many users after the update and i also found many post related to the same.
As my warranty is expired i have no clue how to get this fix. As this damage / problem occured due to recent update.
I also noticed when the display setting is in adaptive refresh rate mode the backlight issue is there but when selecting to standard refresh rate the backlight bleed is gone. But the solution is not permanent as getting any notification or unlocking phone / restarting phone it shows display issue for few seconds.
Please address this issue and come with solution.

Visit nearest Samsung service center they offer free screen replacement if there's no physical damage.

No problem if your phone warranty is expired.

Dear Samsung Staff,

I'd want to bring this to the attention of the higher-ups in your organization. Yesterday (September 23), I upgraded the software in the hopes that it would include security upgrades. Imagine my surprise, therefore, when I noticed a patch in the upper left corner of the screen on my so-called flagship phone, the S22 Ultra.

I took my phone into the Brigade Road service center in Bengaluru today (September 24), and the staff there informed me that I need to pay INR 22,000 to have the display replaced because of dents on the top right and left sides of the body. I assured them that my phone has never been dropped and that I have used a case on it ever since I bought it.

The malfunctioning screen was caused by a software update and not by any improper use of the gadget.

When Samsung is at fault, why should the customer pay to fix it? If a software update is to blame for a broken screen and the customer is expected to pay to get it fixed, I think that's unjust. The onus is on Samsung to make the necessary repairs at no cost to the buyer.

Except for me, every member of my family has an iPhone. They're making fun of me now, saying things like, "We told you to buy an iPhone, but you decided to buy Samsung." This is the result of choosing Samsung over Iphone.
I'd like Samsung's upper management to take a look at this problem and fix it as soon as possible so that Samsung's customers aren't penalized for Samsung's mistakes.

I'm waiting to hear back from the SAMSUNG folks by phone or email.
