Dear Samsung member,

Greetings from Samsung customer support.

Thank you for sharing your concern. We acknowledge your query and apologize for the same. And please follow the easy troubleshooting steps which might help to solve the issue.

Please check your device in safe mode.
Step 1: To enter into Safe mode:
Power off the device>Press and hold the Power key for one or two seconds to turn on the device>>When the Samsung logo appears, press and hold the Volume down key.

Note: If your device functions correctly in Safe Mode, it is most likely that the issue lies with a 3rd party application that can be uninstalled to resolve the problem.

To exit the safe mode, restart the device.

Step 2: Check for Software Updates using the steps:
Settings >> Software update >> Download and install>>Check for software
update >> If Software update available>>Download>>Downloading updates>>Install now.
Note: Your phone will restart after the update is installed.

Step 3: Please reset all device settings using the steps:
Apps>settings> general management>reset all settings( Delete just settings) / Factory reset( Delete complete files, apps etc)

Kindly create a data backup of your device via the smart switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite.
Remember the google password before resetting the device because it is required during the initial setup.

If you do not remember then advise to reset (Forgot password) the google account.
For this; Open Gmail (https://accounts.google.com/servicelogin)>>Select forgot password>>Select "try another way" like mobile number, security question, etc.>>Select Next.

If your issue will be not resolved after performing the steps, kindly visit our service center for the physical inspection of the device. Please click on the link mentioned below to get a nearby service center to your Pincode: http://www.samsung.com/in/support/servicelocation/

Thank you for writing to Samsung.
Warm regard,
Samsung customer support

Already reached them bro...No use... Service head made a call in the morning after seeing my mail. Told me she'd escalate the issue to higher authority. Today evening received a call from them telling me that I will have to pay them to replace the display no other go... just around 15 day after warranty got over am not ready to pay 22k to 23k for this issue.. looking forward for some solution from the community.
Do share and support the issue guys.. Open to any discussion regarding the same1681917353020_1000012918_1681917384.jpg1681917353063_1000012920_1681917985.jpg1681917353085_1000012921_1681918002.jpg

@Abhi_jith have also escalated. Mine is a Singapore bought set in Aug 22. However, my contention is that since it's Ota update that brought this issue and is not limited to one malfunctioning handset, Samsung must take onus to repair/ change.

They have done the same earlier with note 10.

But for that we all need to be united and represent. Have already shared screenshot of many users facing the issue with samsung. They told they will revert.

Also have sought escalation beyond samsung india if not within their purview.

Can someone more technically adept make a forum here for the issue and invite everyone so that we are heard.
