Galaxy S
Hello Samsung Community,
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. After updating to One UI 7.0, and shortly after receiving the May 2025 security patch, I noticed a green line appearing on the top left corner of my display.
I’d like to highlight that:
There’s no physical or accidental damage to my phone.
The issue started right after the software update.
My phone has started experiencing rapid battery drain, even with minimal usage.
I purchased the device second-hand, and I have the store bill and full box kit, though not the original bill from the first owner.
I recently came across reports stating that Samsung is offering free display replacements for green line issues due to software updates, valid until September 2025.
Could someone from the support team or community confirm:
1. Is the free display replacement applicable for my case?
2. Do I qualify even if I have a second-hand purchase with the store invoice?
3. And if there's any fix or update planned for the battery drain issue?
Any official guidance or steps to proceed would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Yes, it's free until September. Even I got it replaced; they only charged me 650 rupees for labour. Just try not to mention that you bought it secondhand.
