I'm enrolled in the Samsung S23 beta update for One UI 8.5. After updating and using it for a few days, I exited the beta program. Even though the stable version has now been released and the May security patch has also been rolled out to other devices, whenever I check for updates, it shows that the software is already updated.

I don't want to manually downgrade/update my device, as it will lead to data loss and require re-logging into all apps. While data can be backed up and restored, logging into every app is a significant hassle. Please fix this beta software issue.

Backup your data using smart switch. While doing that you encounter an option to downgrade and it doesn't work. The only solution is to manually download your samsung model firmware from samfw website and flash it using Odin.

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your query, we would like to inform you that if you deregistered from beta program, then rollback to previous binary using smart switch. After that, you will be able to get stable update.

Kindly follow the bellow steps:

Step 1. Connect your device to your computer using the USB cable provided with your device.

Step 2. Open Smart Switch on your PC.

Step 3. If a software update is available, Smart Switch will automatically prompt you to update the software or display an option to update.

Step 4. Tap Update and follow the on-screen instructions to download the necessary files and complete the update process.

In case the issue still occurs, please visit the service center for a physical inspection of your device. You can locate your nearest service center with this given link: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/service-center/

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
