Samsung S8 after update sensors not working

Hello, I think it was 2 years ago when after an update lots of sensors stopped working on my Samsung S8, there are a few that still work (finger print sensor for example). 

this was my work phone and I didnt care about the sensors, but now I cant use the VR features on it.

Anyone knows a fix for this?

im not sure about this but i read before that oculos is not partnered anymore with sammy

But Gear VR is still working with my 7 year old Note4.

i could be wrong.. but it could be an issue if the phone was reset and need to connect again..
